Lots of stuff
happening but I can't let the cat out of the
bag for a couple of weeks, so you'll have
to just sweat along with me......; )
The band is
playing and sounding great. I'm really looking
forward to touring this one!! And in case
you don't know what band I'm talking about......

[June 11,
2003]
That's right........June
11th. It's only taken me two months to make
it back around to updating this site. I need
a Borg slave or maybe an android to take care
of 2 or 3 of these websites. Actually, management
would do just nicely.......and it's on the
top 3 on the agenda right now.
The CD has
arrived as you can tell by the pain-in-the-ass
pop up. The band is all geared up, well practised,
and starts gigging at the end of June.
Hope to see
ya'll sooner than later!

[April 07,

I've finished
production on the Cynical
Limit album. Man, what a long haul. The
danger in owning your own studio is that you
can return to remix and master an unlimited
amount of times and is what I did over the
course of the last 5 weeks. I was tweaking
things that I think only my dog could hear......but
it's finally there.
So the CD will
go to print this week. I'm really looking
forward to getting out of the studio and playing
this stuff live.

[February

It's been pretty
busy at the camp this past month, I could
seriously use a personal assistant [with a
degree in computer science ; ) ] to help share
this workload......but we're getting there.
I have the
Cynical
Limit site online with a few prerelease
samples of the album to wet your palette.
Do drop by and visit the forum.......
Gotta go to
work, cheers,
Dennis.

[January

Production
sat in limbo again for a couple of weeks as
I waited on a couple of pieces of studio gear
to be delivered. The gear showed up on Friday
and Jeff and I spent the weekend tracking.
We'll be hitting
it pretty hard until all the tracking is finished,
evenings and weekends........
I'm stoked!!
Oh ya, there's
finally something up on the bio page.

[December

Some late breaking
news, after months of vocal auditions the
band lineup is finally solidified and is as
follows:
Jeff Martel
- vocals
Phil Elliott - drums
Robert Pallen - bass
and me - guitar
We'll resume
production on Dec. 27th and plan on having
the album finished by the end of Jan.
....again,
have a good Christmas holiday. You'll most
certainly be seeing us in the new year.

[December

The site gets
an overhaul.......it was long over due.
Production
on my new album was interupted many times
this fall.....most recently because my hard
disk recorder took a crap and had to be sent
out for repair. Now with Christmas coming
up I'll break until the new year.
Since I'm already
two months behind schedule I'll post a couple
highlights of some solo sections from the
new album (I can do this because I don't have
a record company to answer to.....), so have
a chew on a couple preview clips on the media
page for now.
I 86'd the
news prior to September, I never was much
of a history buff.
Stop by the
forum and give me your feedback.......Merry
Christmas, I'll see you in the new year.

I resumed tracking
with Phil Elliott doing percussion overdubs
this week.

| [Oct
17, 2002]
With the help
of Engineer/Producer friend Rick Brantley
(www.atsounds.com),
I finished up tracking most of the music on
the new album. Rick's a really talented guy.....
I learned alot from him on how to get great
drum sounds. He also brought a truck load
of gear with him from his studio in Cincinatti
to aid in the surgery he performed on my drum
tracks.
I'm getting
a little burnt, so I'm gonna take a few weeks
off.

[September
06/02]
Lots
has taken place in the month of August. I
finished up a country artist album in my studio,
and tracked all of the drums for my new album.
Phil Elliott (drummer supreme), did a fantastic
job.....I can't wait for people to hear this
stuff......It's by far the best material I've
ever done (everyone says that about their
new album....but it's true). I'm currently
doing guitar tracks......then it's onto vocals......(I'll
wait a little while to suprise this one on
you).
I've
really had to neglect this site (no time man...),
but I have set up a forum at the studio site
for people to post questions/comments and
chat with other users. Have a look at it http://www.drcmusic.com/forum/
or by going to the old guestbook link which
now will send you to the forum link.
Cheers!
